Trying to grab my attention with annoying advertising tactics is not going to get me to purchase your product or service.  It's just going to piss me off and I'm going to tell those around me just how annoying I think you are.

Sometimes the best thing to do when faced with a difficult or challenging situation is ... nothing.  Do nothing.  See what happens.

There we have it.  Carry on.
